Plans, the AI allowance and credits

  • Every plan
  • Free, runs on your PC

Free on every plan

Recording, transcription, Discord speaker labels, importing old recordings, listening again to clean up a transcript, search, the Compendium, renames, exports and Obsidian all run on your PC. They’re free and unlimited on every plan, Free included.

What the AI allowance pays for

The allowance covers the work a language model does:

  • live suggestions and Check in
  • session recaps
  • adding sessions and write-ups to memory, and the note updates that follow
  • campaign files written from your documents, and rebuilds
  • Ask LoreMonkey
  • finding missing entries, building the timeline and checking world edits
  • illustrations and their pictures, except Lite’s free one and Standard’s free Ultra

LoreMonkey shows how much of it you’ve used, never a price per feature, because what a feature costs depends on how you play.

The plans

Plan Campaigns AI features Illustrations Allowance
Free One Live suggestions and recaps None A free trial
Lite Two Adds memory, note updates and campaign files from documents One on the house, outside the allowance Monthly
Standard As many as you like Adds Ask LoreMonkey, finding missing entries and the timeline Every session, in Normal or Quick, plus one in Ultra on the house, outside the allowance Twice Lite’s
Pro As many as you like Everything in Standard, and LoreMonkey Credits Every session, Ultra on every one More than four times Lite’s

Illustrating every weekly session in Ultra takes a real share of Pro’s allowance on top of your play, so a busy month may need LoreMonkey Credits. See Illustrate a session and share it.

Pricing has the prices and the details. A locked feature in the app says which plan includes it.

What makes the allowance go faster

  • Running the game. A game master’s campaign carries more notes than a player’s, so each AI step reads more.
  • More Guidance. Hands-on offers more ideas than Light. See Choose how much help you get.
  • Long evenings and long notes. Recaps and note updates read the whole session.

Check-in quality on Automatic switches to the economical model if you’re using the allowance too fast.

See what you’ve used

  • The usage bar in the header shows the share of this month’s allowance used.
  • Settings → Billing shows the current billing cycle in detail, and the plans.

When it runs out

The Session tab says You’ve reached your plan’s limit for now, and AI features pause. On a paid plan they come back when your allowance renews with your next month, and jobs that were waiting carry on. On Free, the free trial is used up, and a paid plan brings them back.

Everything that runs on your PC keeps working either way: keep recording and transcribing, and add those sessions to memory later.

You can also:

  • Upgrade to a bigger plan, from the banner or Settings → Billing.
  • On Pro, buy LoreMonkey Credits. Credits never expire and are only spent once the monthly allowance is gone.

Manage your subscription

Settings → Account → Manage subscription opens Stripe, where you manage or cancel your subscription.

Friends who join with your invite code get 20% off their first month, and you get the same off your next month. See Invite friends.
