How much play does an allowance cover?
That depends on how you play more than on the clock. Running the game draws more than playing in it, because the GM's notes travel with every check-in. Checking in more often, longer evenings and a large set of imported notes all draw more; a quiet session with the frequency turned down draws very little. The app shows the month's meter as it goes and what each session used afterwards, so most tables find their level within a session or two. Start where you expect to sit and move up when the meter says so: upgrades apply straight away.
What happens when I run out?
Model-backed features pause until the monthly allowance resets on your renewal date. The free trial's AI usage does not reset. Recording, transcription, speaker labels and campaign indexing are unmetered and carry on either way, so you never lose the record of your game.
What does each plan get for illustrations?
New in LoreMonkey 1.3: after a session, LoreMonkey can turn the recap into an illustrated story, with a title, a tagline, eight captioned scenes, your cast, and quotes taken word for word from the transcript. Share it and your players open it from one link. Lite includes one illustration on the house, in Ultra, the most detailed mode, and it never touches your allowance. Standard illustrates every session in Normal or Quick, from your allowance, plus one in Ultra on the house. Both are one per account, to see what Ultra does. Pro has Ultra, which generates each scene on its own, on every session. Illustrating every weekly session in Ultra takes a real share of Pro's allowance on top of your play, so a busy month may need LoreMonkey Credits. Free does not include illustrations.
What are LoreMonkey Credits?
A one-off top-up for a month where the allowance runs out early. Credits are a Pro feature to buy and to spend: they only cover model calls while your account is on Pro, they are spent only after the monthly allowance is gone, and they never expire. They are not a cheaper substitute for a plan, they are non-refundable unless we close your account or stop offering them, and they have no cash value. You buy them inside the app, not here.
Can I change plans?
Yes. Upgrades take effect after you confirm the prorated amount on Stripe. Downgrades begin at the next renewal. Cancelling leaves paid access active through the end of the current billing period.
What does Free include?
Recording, transcription and speaker labels for one campaign, unlimited and permanently. On top of that you get live prompts and recaps until the free trial's AI usage runs out, which is enough to see both at a real session. Having your campaign files written from your documents starts with Lite, because one of those reads a whole campaign and would spend most of the trial in a single press; you can still write those files by hand on Free. Local features keep running after the trial ends.
Is there a discount for inviting friends?
Yes. Invite a friend and you both get 20% off: their first month, and your next month. That is $2 for Lite, $4 for Standard or $8 for Pro, set by the plan your friend chooses, and it stacks for every friend who joins. Is Ask included in every paid plan?
Ask LoreMonkey starts with Standard. Lite covers live prompts, recaps and note updates for up to two campaigns, without the separate question interface.
