- Discord desktop for clean player and character labels without a call bot.
- An NVIDIA graphics card for faster transcription and better handling of names.
- A microphone for games played around one table.
First run
Allow time for the model download
LoreMonkey downloads its speech recognition model before the first session. The download ranges from a few hundred megabytes to roughly three gigabytes, depending on your hardware.
Once it is present, transcription runs locally. Use the setup check to confirm audio, transcription and the AI connection before game night.
This release is not code signed. Windows SmartScreen will show a warning before installation. The download page will remove this notice as soon as signing is in place.
