Find a session

Open Settings → Memory. The campaign picker at the top switches campaigns everywhere. On the left is every session and memory, newest first, with a search box for sessions and memories. The filters narrow the list:

  • All
  • Needs you: sessions not in memory yet, recordings you haven’t kept or discarded, and second copies of an evening imported twice
  • Not from a session: things you fed LoreMonkey yourself, such as write-ups and old notes

Pick a session to open it on the right. The pencil beside its title renames it.

Recap, Memory, Transcript

Each session has three tabs:

  • Recap: the session’s recap, with Copy, Rewrite and Recap settings. No recap yet? Write recap. See Recaps.
  • Memory: what LoreMonkey remembers from the session, which is what Ask and suggestions draw on.
  • Transcript: every word as heard. Edits and renames never change it.

A session that isn’t in memory yet says Not in memory yet, with an Add to memory button.

Correct a memory

If LoreMonkey remembers something wrong, open the Memory tab and press Edit. Change the title or the text and press Save. The transcript is never changed.

The other controls on a memory:

  • Mark accurate tells LoreMonkey you’ve checked it.
  • Use during play: untick it and LoreMonkey stops using this memory. Tick it again to bring it back.
  • Forget this memory permanently deletes it. It can’t be undone.

On the Transcript tab, Stop recalling makes LoreMonkey stop recalling from that transcript. The file is kept.

Audio

If the session was recorded and you haven’t decided about the audio, it waits here. Keep it to listen again or clean up the transcript later; discard it to free the space. Recordings stay on your PC, and Settings → Recordings sets how much space they may use in total.

Delete a session

Delete session, at the bottom, removes the recording, its recap and what LoreMonkey remembers from it. It says exactly what will go before it does anything, and it can’t be undone. Changes it already made to your notes stay; tidy those on the Character & Campaign tab if needed.
